The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal Charleston, SC is seeking a regional (adult and pediatric) anesthesiologist. Our Regional Division provides patients with peripheral and neuraxial injections and catheters that extend analgesia into the postoperative period. In 2018, our team performed approximately 4,200 regional techniques including a variety of peripheral blocks (>3,800) and thoracic epidurals. We expect these numbers to continue to grow. As an academic anesthesiologist you will also provide didactic and clinical instruction to medical students, residents and colleagues all in support of the missions of clinical teaching, patient care and research.
• Board certification in anesthesiology and subspecialty

• Regional: knowledge and experience with a wide variety of peripheral blocks, including lumbar plexus and paravertebral blocks
